Privacy policy
Discretion is how Corvian works. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how you can access or correct it.
Last updated 23 October 2026.
Who we are
This website is operated by Corvian Pty Ltd ACN 691 862 478 trading as Corvian Collection (“Corvian”, “we”, “us”), a licensed motor dealer in New South Wales (MD100438). We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Details you give us when you enquire, call or email: your name, email address, phone number and anything you include in your message.
- Information needed to buy or sell a vehicle, such as identification, address and payment details, if you go ahead with a transaction. We collect this directly from you at the time.
- Basic technical information our web host records automatically, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and to keep the site working.
The site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Why we collect it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange viewings, complete vehicle transactions, keep the records a motor dealer is required to keep, and meet our other legal obligations. We will not use it for marketing unless you ask us to keep you informed, and you can withdraw that at any time.
Who we share it with
We never sell or rent personal information, and we never disclose who buys or sells a car through us. We share information only with service providers who help us run the business (such as our web host and email provider), with parties directly involved in a transaction you ask us to complete (such as a finance provider, insurer or transport company), or where the law requires it. Some of our service providers may store data outside Australia; we take reasonable steps to ensure they protect it.
How we protect it
Information is kept in secure, access-controlled systems and retained only as long as we need it or the law requires. Enquiries sent through this website are delivered to our business email and are not stored on the website itself.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you by emailing enquiries@corviancollection.com.au or calling 02 9998 7654. If you have a concern about how we have handled your information, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
